HRKN Selection Process 2025: The Haryana Cabinet has approved key amendments in the HKRN Selection Policy 2022 (Deployment of Contractual Persons Policy 2022), modifying the selection process for contractual staff under Haryana Kaushal Rozgar Nigam (HKRN). As per the new rules, the total score for selection has now been reduced to 80 marks, after removing the socio-economic and prior state government experience criteria. What is HKRN?
Haryana Kaushal Rozgar Nigam (HKRN) is a government initiative to ensure transparent and merit-based recruitment for contractual staff in various government departments and institutions unde the Haryana Government.
New HKRN Selection Process – 80 Marks Total
After the amendment, the selection process will now be based on the following 8 parameters, with a maximum of 80 marks:
1. Annual Family Income – 40 Marks

| ₹1,00,001 to ₹1,80,000 | 30 |
| ₹1,80,001 to ₹3,00,000 | 20 |
| ₹3,00,001 to ₹6,00,000 | 10 |
2. Age of the Candidate – 10 Marks

| 24 to 36 years | 10 |
| 36 to 42 years | 5 |
3. Skill Qualification – 5 Marks
Candidates with a recognized skill certificate from NCVT/ SCVT/ SVSU or similar institutions for relevant job roles will receive 5 marks.
4. Higher Qualification – 5 Marks
Candidates having an additional higher qualification above the basic eligibility (minimum 8th pass) in the same field will get 5 marks.
5. Common Eligibility Test (CET) – 10 Marks
Candidates who have qualified the Haryana CET will get 10 marks.
6. Ease of Deployment – 10 Marks

What Has Been Removed?
Two components have been completely removed from the selection criteria:
- Socio-Economic Criteria – 10 Marks
- Earlier given to orphans, widows, and fatherless candidates.
- Pre-State Government Experience – 10 Marks
- Earlier awarded for previous work in Haryana Government departments.
This means that now only 80 marks are considered in the selection process, instead of the earlier 100 marks.
