| Eligibility Criteria |
| Candidates who want to apply for the Haryana Police SPO posts must fulfill the following conditions mentioned in the notice. Candidates must be ex-servicemen of the Indian Armed Forces. They should bring all required documents such as discharge book, service certificate, educational certificates, medical fitness certificate, and passport size photographs during reporting. The minimum educational qualification required is 10+2 (Senior Secondary) from a recognized board. Applicants must also meet the physical fitness standards and discipline requirements suitable for police duty. |
| Honorarium / Salary |
| Selected candidates will be appointed as Special Police Officers (SPO) and will receive an honorarium of ₹20,000 per month as per Haryana Government rules. Apart from the honorarium, SPOs may also receive other benefits as per government policy, including duty-related allowances and compensation in case of accidental death or injury while on duty as per applicable rules. |
| Selection Process |
| The selection of candidates will be done through the following stages conducted by Haryana Police authorities. Document Verification Candidates must present all original documents including discharge certificate, service record, educational certificates, identity proof, and photographs. Interview / Screening Eligible candidates will appear for a personal interview and screening process on 20 March 2026. Final selection will be based on eligibility, service record, and suitability for police duties. |

| Candidates must bring the following documents during the reporting process. Discharge book or discharge certificate from the Armed Forces, service certificate, educational qualification certificates, medical fitness certificate, identity proof, passport size photographs, and any other relevant documents required by Haryana Police authorities. |
| Important Instructions |
| Candidates must report at Police Line Rohtak between 16 March 2026 and 19 March 2026 before 5:00 PM with all documents. Only those candidates who complete the verification process will be allowed to appear in the interview scheduled on 20 March 2026. Incomplete documents or failure to appear within the given schedule may result in rejection of candidature. This recruitment is specifically for ex-servicemen under the Haryana Government SPO policy, therefore candidates who do not meet this requirement will not be considered. |
