| Educational Qualification |
| Candidates must have passed 10th class (Matriculation) with minimum 50% marks from a recognized board and must possess National Trade Certificate (ITI) in the relevant trade issued by NCVT or SCVT. Engineering graduates and diploma holders are not eligible for this apprenticeship notification. Selection Process The selection will be done purely on the basis of a merit list. The merit list will be prepared by calculating the simple average of marks obtained in Matriculation and ITI in the relevant trade. In case two candidates have the same marks, preference will be given to the older candidate. If the age is also the same, the candidate who passed Matriculation earlier will be placed higher in merit. |
| Training Period and Stipend |
| Selected candidates will undergo one year apprenticeship training in the allotted railway unit. During the training period, apprentices will receive a stipend of ₹9,600 per month as per the applicable Railway Board rules. Accommodation will not be provided, and candidates will have to arrange their own stay during training. |
